Regular changes in policy, appropriate strategy and technology advancements, staff changes and creation of new local governments give rise to capacity demands that affect the timely and effective delivery of WASH services. NETWAS capacity building activities include; annual scheduled training courses in line with the sector demand and customer- tailored courses.
The key areas of focus in our courses are strategic management, water demand management; sanitation approaches like CLTS, PHAST, PHASE; customer care in water utility companies; gender, hygiene, environmental health, sanitation, community management, monitoring and evaluation; water integrity; solid waste management; and integrated water resources management.
